Tama (plural tamata), is a Greek term for a form of votive offering used mainly in the Greek Orthodox Church.

These are generally small metal plates in relief, offered to the icon of a saint or a reliquary.

On the plaque is represented the subject of the prayer to which the object is dedicated.
