SILVER and BRASS
Protect items from water, moisture, steam and chemicals. Do not wear jewelry while in the pool, hot tub, sauna/steam room or while bathing or showering. Tarnishing and discoloration are caused by the oxidation process that occurs when the metal comes into contact with air and acids due to handling and humidity.Remove your jewelry before exercising, taking a shower, wash your hands and swim. Salt water is the enemy (even in the Aegean Sea)!

STAINLESS STEEL
Our steel jewelry is made from 316L stainless steel: a material known for its high resistance to water and its great softness towards your skin. They are then plated with 18k gold using an ionization process, which ensures the golden color lasts longer on the steel. They are hypoallergenic, do not darken over time and are water resistant! However, seawater can damage your jewelry and trigger the rusting process. But, if a small amount of tarnish forms on your jewelry, it should be able to wash away easily when rinsed quickly with fresh water.

Avoid contact with cosmetics, hair products and perfumes.
Chlorine, detergents and oils can all cause tarnishing and damage.
Store your jewelry in the pouch or box provided and in a cool, dry place away. Away from direct sunlight.
Clean gold-plated items with a soft cloth and never use silver polish or metal cleaners.
Gold plating should be given a fresh coat of gold if necessary.

Perls
All pearls are freshwater grown and valued for their unique shape. Quality pearls are very durable, but proper care is necessary to keep your pearl jewelry beautiful and shiny.
Care Tips:Wear Them!!! Pearls are originally born in water and benefit from the absorption of oils that your skin naturally secretes throughout the day.
To clean your pearls, gently wipe them with a soft cloth to remove sweat, perfume, excess oil or dirt before storing.Pearls should be stored away from other objects or jewelry that may scratch their surface.
Wrap the beads in linen, a soft cloth, or place them in a soft pouch.Do not store the beads in an airtight package such as a plastic bag, as the beads need moisture. If the environment is too dry, the pearls may crack.
Keep the pearls away from bleach, hydrogen peroxide, vinegar, ammonia, hairspray, perfumes and cosmetics, as these substances will damage the surface of the pearls.
