The elements represent the disk of Phaistos.

The Phaistos disc is a disc of fired clay discovered by archaeologist L. Pernier at the archaeological site of the Minoan palace of Phaistos, Crete.

It is a mysterious object. Its use, meaning and even place of manufacture are the subject of bitter debate. To date, no other similar objects have been found.
